**POSTPONED** Open Mic Poetry Night

????POSTPONED????
To avoid drawing our patrons away from the myriad of great community events this weekend, Open Mic Poetry Night is postponed to a later date (TBA).
When we reconvene, we invite everyone to
Share your original works of poetry
Share your favorite poems
Share a poem from a poet who has inspired you
We invite poems from all cultures and all languages.
Keep an eye out for our new date!

Open to all the community!

Send off summer with a bang and welcome fall with a fun evening at our Open Mic Poetry Night.

Share your original works of poetry
Share your favorite poems
Share a poem from a poet who has inspired you

“Younger” audience members are welcome for the first 30 minutes (G content rating), and then we will turn the evening over to our “older” poets for the PG-13 content.

We invite poems from all cultures and all languages.  Everyone is welcome to be a part of the audience and listen to the poems.  This is a seated event with refreshments available.

Hosted by TheatreWorks MC:  Susan Aaron

Spoken Word

On this balmy September night,

Your spoken word will make everything just right,

We all have stories that should be told,

Theater Works invites you all, both young and old,

Come share with us YOUR story,

Be it chilling, sorrowful, joyful, or filled with glory.

Whether you are new to the spoken word,

Or your poems throughout the world have been heard,

We invite you to join us and speak the words you have penned

Until the evening must come to an end.
