From Stephen Schwartz of 'Godspell' and 'Pippin' and John Caird of 'Les Misérables' comes a joyous and inspirational musical about parents, children and faith..... and several centuries of unresolved family business!
Freely based on the story of Genesis, CHILDREN OF EDEN is a frank, heartfelt and often humorous examination of the age-old conflict between parents and children. Adam, Eve, Noah and the "Father" who created them deal with the headstrong, cataclysmic actions of their respective children. The show ultimately delivers a bittersweet but inspiring message: that 'the hardest part of love...is letting go.'
The TheatreWorks Community Players summer 2006 production featured a multicultural cast of 30, a dynamic set designed by Brad Archer of High Point University, sound by Snow Creek Sound, and lighting by Jackie Finney of Averett University.
